Ramat Gan is located next to Tel Aviv in central Israel. The name literally means “garden heights” and indeed, 25% of the city area is green. Population is 150,000, and there are about 11,000 businesses operating.

Ramat Gan was founded in 1921 as an agriculture based village.

Places to visit:

  • Ramat Gan Park – A huge green park and a lake. The entrance is free. The Park is a home for hundreds of ducks, birds and other feathered friends, and more. If you like to sail in the lake you can rent a small boat. Every Friday at 7.00 AM, you can Tai-Chi with an instructor. Participation is free.   • Ayalon Canyon – A big shopping mall and cinemas (next to the Ramat Gan football stadium).
  • The Far East museum – Chinese, Japanese, Nepal, Tibet, Korean Art treasures.
