Tipex
TIPEX is a brand name for a correction fluid that was once manufactured in Israel. The band took the name and the rest is history… Tipex is known for their sarcastic/funny/sad lyrics and their music is mostly pop influenced and spiced with Moroccan & other oriental beats.
Rolled in a newspaper was one of their first hits talking about poverty, injustice that are often translated into dry statistics and numbers in a newspaper.
Future was good to Tipex as they still perform and released more than 5 albums and were connected to other musical projects that succeeded.
Other songs by Tipex: “Rabbi Joe Capara”, “Just another Saturday” and more…

Hebrew Lyrics by: Tipex | music: Moroccan
There are people rolled in a newspaper
ohhh woh woh woh, living in a can
conservation can in our kitchen
and on the kitchen’s table
there’s a man in the pitcher
peeping from the glass
and one day, was shot from a cannon
and in the cannon
there are people
getting slapped
ohhh woh woh woh, old and infants
near a broken bottle
from the beach
there are people near the beach ohhh woh woh woh
jumping from buildings
there is a joke about it
we sometimes laugh about it
in our living room
and in our living room
are new kind of people ohhh woh woh woh
living in a blankit
near a street light
under some line
theres a country that hides
under some line
and there’s statistics too
which are written in a newspaper
there are people rolled in a newspaper
